Cargo Desiccant Bag is a superior performing humidity controlling and moisture absorbing product for cargo containers. The temperature and humidity changes taking place on a ship and port cause damage to your goods inside cargo containers. With variable temperature and humidity cargo sweat, container rain or condensation can occur. Where moisture collects on the surface of the cargo, or container sweat; where moisture condenses on the inner walls and ceilings of cargo containers. Both of these can significantly damage cargo and packaging, rendering it unsuitable for sale. Cargo Desiccant Bags help eliminate this by:

Reducing humidity level to maintain relative humidity to 50% (RH)
Preventing condensation and moisture damage by constantly absorbing moisture.
Protecting against mould, rust, oxidation, corrosion, product odour and colour changes, damp and moisture damage during shipment
Each pouch is able to take on up to 250% of its own weight in free water from the empty space of the container There are a range of options to suit different applications and requirements. The type and amount of desiccants required can vary based on factors such as cargo type, journey duration, climatic conditions and packaging materials used, we are able to supply the following variations -

Cargo Desiccant Bag 1 kg strip

These desiccant strips are contained in a protective casing and come with an attachment hook that can be easily positioned below container ceiling. Moisture absorption >2.5 L of water per strip

Cargo Desiccant Bag 125 gm with sticker

Small packet with sticker which allows desiccants to be positioned easily and fits neatly into grooves within container walls. Can be placed on ceiling, wall, or stick to cargo. Moisture absorption > 300 ml of water

Cargo Desiccant Bag 200gm with hanger

Small and convenient individual desiccant packets. Available with adhesive strip or hanger and can be positioned anywhere. Moisture absorption > 500 ml of water

Cargo Desiccant Bag 500 gm

Can be laid or hung on top of cargo for maximum moisture absorption. For use in tightly packed containers. affordable moisture absorption > 1.5 liters
